Kendall Schmidt (voiceover): Last week on the DWTSGame, our professional dancers took a break as our celebrities paired into couples of their own for our first ever TECHNO Partner Ditch Week. This provided us with two near perfect dances, a lack luster Argentine Tango from our underdogs, and a sizzling Techno Salsa! With good scores, Lindsey Vonn shockingly went home, along with leaderboard trailer Nicolas Cage!

Brittany Brannon (voiceover): This week, the DWTSGame goes back in time to a hipper, funkier, and groovier time as we embark into 80’s Week! With so many inspiring songs to use, will we see some inspiring dances tonight? Find out! LIVE! This is Dancing with the Stars!

The opening sequence is shown. Jan and Corky do an elegant spin. Dez and Kym do a fierce, sexy pose. Nicolas and Edyta spin and smile. Sofia and Alec twirl delicately. Fran and Tristan do a few quick cheeky moves. Joseph and Peta perform a spin-lift. We look down on Mariska and Tony from an above-view camera. Amber and Val do a hot and sultry pose. Ryan performs a Tango hold with Natalie. George stands provocatively with Karina on his shoulder. Melissa comically throws her leg over Louis’s leg from behind him. Nicki kicks her leg up and Mark catches it in his hand. Sasha does a smooth pose with Cheryl. Clive twirls Anna in a 360-degree spin. Pitbull nods his head and dances casually behind Jeanine. Jorma holds Joy in a Tango pose. Lindsey kicks her leg over Derek’s arm and leans forward. Kristen does a Cha-Cha spin with Maksim. The DWTSGame logo is then show.

Brittany: Hello, and welcome to the DWTSGame! I’m Brittany Brannon!
Kendall: And I’m Kendall Schmidt! You’re all in for a treat because this week is 80’s WEEK, where everyone will be dancing to hit songs from the 80’s!
Brittany: I can’t wait any longer, and I bet you guys in the audience can’t either! So please welcome our stars!

The stars come down the moving staircases in this order: Sasha Mitchell, Fran Drescher, Ryan Lane, Amber Heard, Jan Brewer, Clive Owen, Dez Bryant, Nicki Minaj, Mariska Hargitay, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Kendall: I swear, this is the craziest our cast has ever looked! Haha! Who’s up first tonight, Brittany?
Brittany: Tonight’s first contestant is the man who paired up with Amber Heard last week to satisfy the judges with a near perfect Argentine Tango! This week, can he maintain that standard when paired back with his own partner? Its actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his partner, Peta Murgatroyd!

In Joseph’s video, he admits that last week with Amber was awesome, but says that his heart shall stay with Peta. This week, for 80’s week, they are given a Quickstep, which Joseph picks up spectacularly and Peta is amazed by. Joseph says this is his week to slide back into first place – alone!

Voiceover: Dancing the Quickstep, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his partner, Peta Murgatroyd.

Joseph has somewhat spiky hair and is in a suit with white tie; Peta is in a pink gown with gloves and her hair in an updo. They dance to “Take On Me” by A-Ha. Once finished, they walk over to
Kendall.

Kendall: What an awesome first dance, Joe! Great job! Judges, please tell us your comments, starting with Head Judge, Natalie Sanders!
Natalie: Thanks Kendall. Joseph! You really seemed at home with this ballroom dance, and the footwork was very precise! It was so entertaining and I was brought back to the 80’s instantaneously with it! Great job!
Tony: Joseph, you are just so easy to judge! I feel like when you step on to the floor, I don't feel like I'm judging anymore! If I had one criticism it would be your shoulders were a little high. Other than that, you were golden Joseph!
Valerie: Joseph, I've not been your biggest fan throughout the competition as I feel I've always had a critique to make, but this performance was just absolutely spell-binding. Your tap experience really came into play here, what a wonderful performance, I congratulate you!
Kendall: Amazing comments for tonight’s first dance! Guys, please go up to Brittany in the skybox for your scores! Brittany?

Brittany begins talking as Joseph and Peta arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thanks Kendall! Joseph, that was awesome. Now this week, we’ll be asking everyone… what was life like for you in the 80’s?
Joseph: It was actually fairly busy. I was just starting to get some acting roles and that really kept me occupied! Although, I can’t remember too much, I was just a kid! Haha.
Brittany: Haha! Looks like we’ve found our funny guy, here! Let’s get your scores!

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Valerie Hashburntar: 10
Natalie Sanders: 9
Tony Klespis: 9

TOTAL: 28/30

Brittany: 28 points! Wow, what a way to start the night! Great job! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Thank you, Brittany! Next up tonight is the woman that danced with Nicolas Cage last week, didn’t quite impress the judges, landed in last place, and landed in the bottom-three! Will her luck change this week with a new dance? It’s Arizona Governor Jan Brewer and her partner Corky Ballas!

In Jan’s video, she was certain that she would’ve gone home when she was in the bottom-three, but since she’s still here, she’s pleasantly surprised! She hopes that this week, with an entertaining Cha-Cha-Cha, the judges will give her as high a score as they gave her in Week 3!

Voiceover: Dancing the Cha-Cha-Cha, Jan Brewer and her partner, Corky Ballas.

Jan is in a short yellow dress; Corky is in a yellow dress shirt with black vest. They dance to “Hurts So Good” by John Mellencamp. Once finished they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Good job, Jan! I loved the song and the dance! Judges, what did you think? Tony?
Tony: Jan, you have the biggest smile on your face every time I see you. Unfortunately, that Cha-Cha wasn't what we wanted to see from you. Your legs were quite wooden and you seemed to be a little scared of the dance. Don't be scared! Just let it all hang out, Jan!
Valerie: I quite liked this, Jan! I don't think you're a great dancer - at all - but you looked like you were having such a good time and that's what matters. I think sometimes you lost the beat a bit which is why I had to knock you down a bit but I can't deny that that was your strongest performance to date, well done!
Natalie: Jan, it wasn’t great on footwork and your technique still isn’t improving, but I must give you a lot of credit, because we really can’t stop watching you try your best! This Cha-Cha was enjoyable. Good job for trying!
Kendall: All in all, a lot of good comments! Please head on up to Brittany! Brittany?

Brittany begins talking as Jan and Corky arrive to the skybox.

Brittany
: Thanks, Kendall! So Jan, what were the 80’s like for you?
Jan: The 80’s were actually a very serious time for me, politically. It sure wasn’t as fun as that Cha-Cha! Ha!
Brittany: Haha! I could imagine so, Jan! Well, it’s time to get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Valerie Hashburntar: 7
Natalie Sanders: 6
Tony Klespis: 5

TOTAL: 18/30

Brittany: 18 points! Not bad, Jan! Not bad! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Thanks Brit! Next up tonight is the woman who lit up the floor, and drove one of our judges wild, when she paired up with Sasha Mitchell to dance a Techno Paso Doble! This week, with another Paso and her original partner back, how will she do? Its actress Fran Drescher and her partner Tristan MacManus!

In Fran’s video, she is so happy to be reunited with Tristan! This week, with another Paso Doble, Fran has a bit of a better understanding of how it is danced. Tristan has some difficulties incorporating the 80’s into the Paso, but luckily, being the 80’s freak that she is, Fran suggests some creative moves!

Voiceover: Dancing the Paso Doble, Fran Drescher and her partner, Tristan MacManus.

Fran has large curly hair and is in a shiny red leather Paso outfit; Tristan is in an unbuttoned red Paso vest. They dance to “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul. Once finished, they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Wow Fran! That was amazing! Let’s see if the judges thought the same. Valerie?
Valerie: Fran, the reason I loved this tonight is because you unleashed your inner Paula Abdul on the dance floor! I thought you really rocked the story - however I was sometimes expecting you to come out with an absolutely incredible performance since you have already done an 80’s style dance, but that didn't come out tonight, but once again I have to congratulate you on a great Paso Doble, well done!
Natalie: Fran! You look as sexy as ever in leather! Wow! Haha! The dance wasn’t up there with your absolute best because you seemed a little out of your element this week, but really, it was cool seeing you attack the Paso! Congrats!
Tony: I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed. I feel that I just had dance déja vu with this Paso. I felt like I was watching your Tango from two weeks ago, only it wasn't as strong. I know tonight is 80’s night, so I can't fault you there. The dance was a little brittle for me. It wasn't as strong as your last two dances.
Kendall: Well… two out of three agree! Go up to Brittany for some scores, please! B?

Brittany begins talking as Fran and Tristan arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thanks, Kendall! Fran, tell us again what the 80’s were like! Haha!
Fran: Hahaha! As you all probably know now, I’m pretty much stuck in the 80’s!
Brittany: Yeah, not much more to it! Haha! Now let’s get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Valerie Hashburntar: 9
Natalie Sanders: 8
Tony Klespis: 7

TOTAL: 24/30

Brittany: 24 points! Not as high as you’ve been seeing, but a good score for tonight! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Thanks Brittany! Our next star is the man who had an impressive week when he danced a Paso Doble and a Salsa with Lindsey Vonn, who was surprisingly sent home. Will he escape the same fate this week? Its DWTSGame contest winner Ryan Lane and his partner Natalie Lowe!

In Ryan’s video, he was shocked to see partner ditch partner, Lindsey, sent home! He does not want to see that happen to him this week. With an 80’s Tango, Natalie really focuses on fixing Ryan’s posture, which she admits she hasn’t gotten to work on yet. They hope this dance impresses the judges!

Voiceover: Dancing the Tango, Ryan Lane and his partner, Natalie Lowe.

Ryan has his hair slicked back and is in an all black suit; Natalie has frizzy hair and is in a dark pink tango dress. They dance to “Our Lips Are Sealed” by the Go-Go’s. Once finished, they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Good job, Ryan! I don’t think anyone is having as much fun as you are! Haha! Let’s get the judges’ verdict now. Natalie?
Natalie: Ryan, it was a great effort! Your footwork has been improving since Week 1, and the audience seems to like you! My only critique is to try and control your facial expressions when doing something as serious as the Tango, because you seemed pretty giddy with this intense dance! Haha! Good job, though!
Tony: Yeah, I have to agree with Natalie. I know you want to do well Ryan, I can see it in your eyes! But when you have a serious dance like the Tango, we want to see some fun, but we also want to see some level of seriousness. You had this big goofy grin throughout the dance that didn't suit the Tango. But you're improving, and we have to point that out! You're the surprise of the season, I think!
Valerie: I'm sorry Ryan, but this week just wasn't your week. I wasn't sure the song had that Tango power you really need, and I agree with Natalie because sometimes you need to be quite serious but I wasn't feeling it, but I think you put probably the most effort in out of all our contestants and I know you have a wild fan base so I'm sure you're fine!
Kendall: Mm. Tough comments, you guys! Please head up to Brittany for your scores!

Brittany begins talking as Ryan and Natalie arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thank you, Kendall! Ryan, what were the 80’s like for you?
Ryan: I have no clue. I wasn’t born until 1992! Haha!
Brittany: Really! Woops! Ha! Let’s get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Valerie Hashburntar: 6
Natalie Sanders: 7
Tony Klespis: 7

TOTAL: 20/30

Brittany: 20 points! Well, those are decent scores, so congrats! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Thank you, Brittany! Our next star is the woman who topped the leaderboard after dancing a fierce Argentine Tango and fiery Salsa with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. When she returns to her original partner, will she have what it takes to outshine him? Its actress Amber Heard and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy!

In Amber’s video, she explains that last week was tons of fun! This week, she has to prove she has what it takes to win, as the song for her Viennese Waltz is not very traditional. While performing a spin in training, Amber topples over – it is later revealed she sprained her ankle. At the doctor’s advice, she sits out for a day, but has to continue with the competition. She is no quitter!

Voiceover: Dancing the Viennese Waltz, Amber Heard and her partner, Val Chmerkovskiy.

Amber is in a black gown (her ankle visibly rapped up); Val is in a grey suit. They dance to “Janie’s Got A Gun” by Aerosmith. Once finished, they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Wow, Amber! What a trooper! Great job! Let’s get the judges’ reactions. Tony?
Tony: Oh Amber. What happened? This week was a huge step backwards, which I hate to say! You had a few stumbles in footwork, and you weren't too sure of your steps this week, which we don't normally see from you. I pray you're back next week. I would hate to see you go because you had an off week. If you're back next week, I want to see confidence!
Valerie: It just wasn't a real Viennese Waltz for me. In any way I felt it was too rock-and-roll for this dance. But I can't knock you down too much, because I still truly believe you are one of the most gifted dancers we've got to watch, it's just sometimes I didn't feel that the choreography worked for me. Sorry!
Natalie: This was a little weird for a Viennese Waltz, due to the song… but in this situation, you really need to rely heavily on the choreography and from what it looks like, Val really saved the day! You guys did great but it wasn’t one of your best dances. Sorry!
Kendall: Man, those aren’t the comments we wanted! Well, please go up to Brittany!

Brittany begins talking as Amber and Val arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thank you Kendall! Amber, is there anything more you can tell us about your ankle?
Amber: I sprained it while trying to push myself too hard, and I had to lose a day of training because of it. It’s gonna take a little bit to heal up, but by no means am I quitting!
Brittany: Awesome! So glad to hear that! Let’s get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Valerie Hashburntar: 8
Natalie Sanders: 8
Tony Klespis: 8

TOTAL: 24/30

Brittany: 24 points! Not a bad score, with all things considered! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Our next contestant tonight is the man who again failed to win over the judges last week when he performed two lack luster performances with Mariska Hargitay. Can he finally get them on his side tonight? Its actor Clive Owen and his partner Anna Trebunskaya!

In Clive’s video, he wants nothing more than to actually score higher than his first score of 22. With an 80’s Paso, Clive tries his hardest to capture the intensity of the dance! Anna believes he can get his highest score yet!

Voiceover: Dancing the Paso Doble, Clive Owen and his partner, Anna Trebunskaya.

Clive is in a red vest with black bandana; Anna is in a shiny black dress. They dance to “Jump” by Van Halen. Once finished, they walk over to Kendall.

Kendall: Cool job, Clive! Now, time to get our judges’ take on things. Valerie?
Valerie: Sadly, I think that you have lost your spark. In Week 1, I thought you were gonna have some great routines, but week by week you've just kinda lost that. I'm sorry to say it, as I think you have the talent, I mean, we saw it in Week 1, but where has it gone? Tonight, it didn't leave me excited.
Natalie: Oh, man. I really miss Week 1 Clive, our dapper English gentleman who had so much potential. This week, Clive, the Paso really defeated you. You seemed to get into the character of the Paso, but really, it wasn’t very entertaining and you actually looked like you let Anna down a bit. If you’re back next week, you really need to buckle down and try your hardest!
Tony: DISAGREE! I disagree completely with the ladies! For me, Clive is back! I think I saw a different performance than the other two did. I saw a powerful macho man doing his thing! Keep it up Clive because I have faith in you!
Kendall: Well, Tony saved the day with his comment. Ha! Go on up to Brit for your scores! Brittany, up to you!

Brittany begins talking as Clive and Anna arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thanks Kendall! Clive, what were the 80’s like for you?
Clive: The 80’s were actually pretty fun! I was just getting my start in acting and I was a lot younger… fun times! Ha.
Brittany: Wish I could’ve seen it! Haha! Let’s get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

TOTAL: 21/30

Brittany: 21 points! An 8 in there, Clive! Good job! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Thank you, Brittany! Next up is the man that assaulted the dancefloor last week with two scorching performances while paired with Fran Drescher! What will happen tonight for him? Its actor Sasha Mitchell and his partner Cheryl Burke!

In Sasha’s video, he is glad he’s gotten so far and is doing so well! This week, he and Cheryl have the Tango – to a huge 80’s hit. Sasha gets intense and serious and Cheryl couldn’t be more pleased! She thinks this week they could top the leaderboard!

Voiceover: Dancing the Tango, Sasha Mitchell and his partner, Cheryl Burke.

Sasha has his hair slicked back and is in a tuxedo; Cheryl is in a British-flag print tango outfit. They dance to “London Calling” by the Clash. Once finished, they walk to Kendall!

Kendall: Amazing, Sash! Let’s see what the judges thought! Natalie?
Natalie: Sasha Mitchell! Wow! You look so hot right now! Haha! That dance was great, and Cheryl really created some technical steps and I’m surprised you mastered them! This was my favorite dance of yours. I hope you stick around for a while! Great job!
Tony: Sasha...Only one word can describe this dance. Do you want to know what that word is? PERFECTION! That's all I have to say! Like Natalie said, this is my favorite dance of yours!
Valerie: Sasha, we all knew I wasn't your biggest fan in week one, and I honestly didn't expect much improvement from you. It pains me to say it but I was wrong! This was a great performance and it's easier for you I guess, since you were such a household name in the 1980s, but well done, I have to say, you gave a good performance!
Kendall: Great comments, Sasha! Congratulations! Up to Brittany, please! Brit?

Brittany begins talking as Sasha and Cheryl arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thank you Kendall! Sasha, amazing Tango! What were the 80’s like for you?
Sasha: Like Joe and Clive, I was just getting started in acting, so it was awesome! It’s where my career took off and I owe a lot to that decade! Haha!
Brittany: Sounds like fun! But what would I know, I was only 4 by the end of the 80’s! Hah! Let’s get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

Valerie Hashburntar: 9
Natalie Sanders: 8
Tony Klespis: 10

TOTAL: 27/30

Brittany: 27 points! Sasha, your first 10! Wow! Congrats! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Our next star tonight is the woman that lit the floor on fire last week when she danced a spunky Paso Doble with Dez Bryant and lead the lower scoring team Salsa! This week, will she fly to first place? Its rapper Nicki Minaj and her partner Mark Ballas!

In Nicki’s video, she says that this week is time for her to buckle down with a Quickstep to a song that has become a classic! She says “no crazy hair, no crazy costumes, just plain ole dancing”. Mark works mostly on Nicki’s posture and footwork and is amazed with her progress!

Voiceover: Dancing the Quickstep, Nicki Minaj and her partner, Mark Ballas.

Nicki has black hair and is in a green gown; Mark is in a white dress shirt with black vest and green tie. They dance to “Love Is A Battlefield” by Pat Benatar. Once finished, they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Wow! A completely new Nicki! Haha! Let’s see what the judges thought of it. Tony?
Tony: Classy, sophisticated, and your best performance to date, Nicki! Four weeks ago, you were the rapper attempting ballroom dancing. Now, it's like you're the ballroom dancer attempting rapping! Haha! I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I think you're going to be a ballroom girl! Go Nicki!
Valerie: I liked Mark's choreography for this performance! He's genius at making it pull off for you, because each week I watch you and just know you'll be here for a long, long time! Granted, it wasn't perfection, there were some timing issues, but Nicki, you are a star and that performance showed that, well done!
Natalie: Nicki! I loved you this week! No hair or costume gimmicks, just plain and simple ballroom dancing! You can work wonders on the floor when you buckle down! This quickstep was great! You kept up a marvelous hold and your feet when in all the right places! Great job!
Kendall: Great comments! Please go up to Brittany! BB?

Brittany begins talking as Nicki and Mark arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thanks KS! Nicki, what were the 80’s like for you?
Nicki: Oh my gosh! It was an awesome childhood! I was a kid growing up in Trinidad & Tobago. It was like always being on vacation! I loved it!
Brittany: God, it sounds amazing! Haha! Let’s get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

TOTAL: 27/30

Brittany: 27 points! Wow! Awesome scores, you guys! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Next up is the man who that paired with Nicki last week to slide into second place, and to receive his highest score so far this season! Will he score even higher tonight? Its NFL star Dez Bryant and his partner Kym Johnson!

In Dez’s video, he’s looking forward to dancing to an 80’s song! He was born in ’88, but he’s in love with the music of the decade! Kym is excited to do an 80’s themed Foxtrot with Dez, who is surprisingly elegant this week!

Voiceover: Dancing the Foxtrot, Dez Bryant and his partner, Kym Johnson.

Dez is in a dark blue suit; Kym is in a light brown gown. They dance to “Summer Of 69” by Bryan Adams. Once finished, they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: Wow! Looks like we got a Twinkletoes over here! Haha! Let’s see if the judges think the dancing was the same. Valerie?
Valerie: It pains me to say it, Dez, but that wasn't a good performance. You're not a foxtrot guy, because I felt nothing watching that. There was no Hollywood grace or style at all. And the song just wasn't a Foxtrot. I really like you Dez, but you can deliver more than that, I'm sorry to say it but you're really gonna need the votes as two couples are leaving and with that performance, you can easily be one of them.
Natalie: I liked it! Dez, you handled the choreography really well, and I loved the big ole smile on your face! It made me giggle! Haha! You and Kym kept up great and Kym, you choreographed an awesome Foxtrot this week! You guys should be proud!
Tony: Valerie is crazy! I loved it! I think this song could have gone either Cha-Cha or Foxtrot! Kym, you made it work with the Foxtrot. Still works on footwork, but you’re getting closer to becoming an amazing dancer Dez!
Kendall: Good comments, you guys! Please head on up to Brittany for your scores! Brittany?

Brittany begins talking as Dez and Kym arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thanks Kendall! Dez, what were the 80’s like for you?
Dez: I can’t remember. I was just learning how to walk! Haha!
Brittany: Is that all of our young people’s answer tonight? Haha! Let’s get your scores.

Will the judges please reveal their scores?

TOTAL: 22/30

Brittany: 22 points! Not as high as your scores have been, but you did good! Back to you, Kendall!

Kendall: Thank you Brittany! Finally tonight is the woman who showed some sexy legs last week with a lack luster Argentine Tango while paired with Clive Owen! Can she heat things up tonight? Its actress Mariska Hargitay and her partner Tony Dovolani!

In Mariska’s video, she gets excited at the thought of doing a crazy 80’s themed dance! Tony is surprised at how well Mariska is handling the Cha-Cha, and is loving how into character she is getting! Mariska wants to get at least one 10 and she’ll be happy!

Voiceover: Dancing the Cha-Cha-Cha, Mariska Hargitay and her partner, Tony Dovolani.

Mariska has large curly hair and is in a crazy 80’s outfit; Tony is in a white vest. They dance to “Like A Virgin” by Madonna. Once finished, they walk to Kendall.

Kendall: That was so cool, Mariska! I loved it! Let’s find out what the judges thought! Natalie?
Natalie: Mariska! You really glowed in this dance! I think you played the 80’s theme the best out of everyone here… but as great as you were, the dance lacked some footwork. You were a little slower than I’d have liked, but you did a good job! I liked it!
Tony: Well I thought it was cheeky and sassy! You played it just right for me. Last week you had a bit of a wild and worried look in your eyes, but not tonight! I think you were more at home with this dance. I loved it Mariska!
Valerie: I really, really liked this Mariska. This is most definitely your comeback! I really hope that people pick up their phones and vote for you because you just showed us how powerful you can be on the dancefloor! I have no complaints to make, that was stunning, just well done, you're our Madonna!
Kendall: Those are amazing comments! Please go to Brittany up there! Brittany?

Brittany begins talking as Mariska and Tony arrive to the skybox.

Brittany: Thank you Kendall! Mariska, how did the 80’s treat you?
Mariska: Oh my god! I absolutely LOVED the 80’s! I’m stuck in the past with Fran! We must be soul sistahs! Haha!
Brittany: Booyah! Hahaha! Let’s see your scores.
